Location: Hybrid in San Jose, California, United States

Salary: $166,000–$192,000 per year, plus equity and bonus opportunities.

What you will do

  • Lead cybersecurity programs spanning product security, enterprise security, vulnerability management, cloud security, compliance, certifications, and incident readiness.
  • Own program roadmaps, priorities, schedules, budgets, dependencies, risks, and delivery.
  • Coordinate cybersecurity incident response, stakeholder communications, remediation actions, and post-incident follow-up.
  • Develop KPIs, dashboards, and executive reporting covering security posture, risk, remediation, and program effectiveness.
  • Coordinate security assessments, audits, certifications, penetration tests, bug bounties, and remediation activities.
  • Manage security vendors and third-party engagements while tracking emerging risks and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity, technical program management, or a related field, including leadership of complex security programs.
  • Strong knowledge of security risk management, incident response, product and cloud security, vulnerability management, and compliance frameworks.
  • Experience with security metrics, dashboards, executive reporting, vendor management, and third-party assessments.
  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders, lead cross-functional teams, manage escalations, and drive outcomes.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, prioritization, and executive presentation skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, computer science, engineering, or a related discipline.

Nice to have

  • CISSP, CISM, PMP, or a similar certification.
  • Experience leveraging AI and automation to improve program execution, reporting, and operational efficiency.
