Manufacturing Quality Engineer (SUV)

Location: Warsaw Manufacturing Site. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis; visa sponsorship is not available.

Salary: $108,877.26–$163,315.90 annual base pay

What you will do

• Develop and implement quality assurance and control processes for sub-assembly and general assembly.
• Integrate quality requirements into manufacturing processes in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Investigate technical and process quality issues through root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Audit and inspect manufacturing processes to support a successful new vehicle launch.
• Partner with suppliers to establish and monitor quality expectations for incoming materials and components.
• Maintain control plans, inspection procedures, quality manuals, FMEAs, and other quality documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in industrial, mechanical, manufacturing, or related engineering, with 8+ years of experience.
• 8+ years of automotive engineering or manufacturing quality experience at an OEM or Tier 1 supplier.
• Strong understanding of vehicle development, production, manufacturing launches, product and process assessment, and problem solving.
• In-depth knowledge of Quality Assurance and Quality Control disciplines, FMEAs, and Control Plans.
• Proficiency with automotive quality tools and processes including AIAG, IATF 16949, MSA, SPC, APQP, and PPAP.
• Strong teamwork, communication, assertiveness, data-driven decision-making, and ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment.
