Manufacturing Quality Engineer, Incoming (Automotive)

Location: Warsaw Manufacturing Site. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis; visa sponsorship is not available.

Annual base pay: USD 108,877.26–163,315.90

What you will do

• Review and approve supplier PPAP submissions against inspection plans, specifications, and quality requirements.
• Coordinate incoming inspection and provide part-inspection support for new products, launches, and production builds.
• Follow up on supplier corrective actions and support root-cause problem solving for supplier quality issues.
• Assess supplier capabilities, manage certifications, and develop supplier performance strategies and scorecards.
• Conduct internal audits, monitor scrap and supplier-performance KPIs, and issue Quality Failure Reports.
• Develop and maintain control plans, inspection procedures, quality manuals, FMEA, and risk-assessment documentation while collaborating cross-functionally.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
• At least 6 years of engineering or quality assurance and control experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with QMS, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, SPC, root-cause analysis, and corrective and preventive actions.
• Familiarity with FMEA, risk-assessment tools, and automotive quality processes including AIAG, IATF 16949, MSA, APQP, and PPAP.
• Experience in supplier quality management and setting quality expectations for incoming materials.
• Permanent US work authorization is required; visa sponsorship is not available.
