Quality Manager (Manufacturing)

Location: Marion, Ohio, USA

Salary: USD 120,000–130,000 yearly; $5,000 signing bonus

What you will do

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems covering ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and other QMS requirements.
• Lead the Marion Quality Department and coordinate quality assurance, quality control, and customer satisfaction programs.
• Manage certification schedules, internal and external audits, documentation reviews, and quality performance reporting.
• Support new product and raw-material launches, scale-up, validation, and process optimization.
• Troubleshoot quality issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Use statistical quality techniques to improve process capability, product quality, throughput, waste, and energy efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a Quality Manager in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 quality management requirements.
• Experience with audits, statistical analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement.
• Familiarity with product quality requirements for automotive manufacturer customers.
• Ability to lead a quality department, coach safety and quality practices, and report performance to site leadership.
