Manufacturing Quality Engineer, GA (Automotive)

Location: Warsaw Manufacturing Site. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis; visa sponsorship is not available.

Base pay range: $108,877.26–$163,315.90 annual

What you will do

• Develop and implement quality assurance and control processes for sub-assembly and general assembly.
• Integrate quality requirements into manufacturing processes with cross-functional teams.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions for technical and process quality issues.
• Conduct manufacturing process audits and inspections to support a successful new vehicle launch.
• Work with suppliers to establish and monitor incoming material and component quality expectations.
• Maintain control plans, inspection procedures, quality manuals, FMEAs, and other quality documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in industrial, mechanical, manufacturing, or related engineering.
• 10+ years of automotive engineering or manufacturing quality experience at an OEM or Tier 1 supplier.
• Strong understanding of vehicle development, production, and manufacturing plant launches.
• Expertise in quality assurance, quality control, product and process assessment, problem solving, and root cause analysis.
• Proficiency with automotive quality tools and processes, including AIAG, IATF 16949, MSA, SPC, APQP, and PPAP.
• Experience with FMEAs, control plans, data-driven decision-making, and high-performing cross-functional teams.
