Senior Test Manager

Location: On-site in Beavercreek, Ohio, United States; moderate travel of 20–40%; core hours are 09:00–15:00.

What you will do

• Develop and support execution of the Airborne Connectivity Branch test strategy across product lines.
• Coordinate with developmental and operational test organizations to develop test plans, manage resources, and monitor execution.
• Act as a liaison among test units, contractors, users, program offices, and other weapon system stakeholders.
• Provide senior-level test and evaluation guidance, analyze Air Force and DoD policies, and recommend technical solutions.
• Manage cost, schedule, execution, and strategy for test and evaluation activities across acquisition phases.
• Monitor contractor performance, assess technical risks, brief government and industry leadership, and resolve technical issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• 10+ years of systems engineering and/or test and evaluation experience focused on Air Force acquisition programs or comparable DoD systems.
• Experience managing system requirements verification and validation activities and leading planning and execution events.
• Proficiency with model-based systems engineering, risk management, requirements management, project scheduling, and software backlog management tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication, problem-solving, prioritization, and stakeholder collaboration skills in a DoD acquisition environment.
• Top Secret clearance, SCI eligibility, and SAP eligibility required.

Nice to have

• Experience with DoD or intelligence-community prototyping and experimentation, software integration, and testing.
• At least two years of experience with Special Access and/or SCI programs.
• Experience acquiring or testing command-and-control or battle management systems and integrating weapon systems into a system of systems.
• Experience with AFSIT and JITC certification testing.
