Test and Evaluation Engineer

What you will do

• Analyze system requirements, concepts of operations, acquisition plans, and system descriptions to develop evaluation and test plans, procedures, and reports.
• Plan and execute performance analysis, performance estimation, testing, and data collection across inspection, demonstration, simulation, survey, paper analysis, and physical test activities.
• Assess performance risks, requirements testability, operational environments, scenarios, and system effectiveness and suitability metrics.
• Specify, validate, and adapt modeling and simulation; apply statistical analysis and sampling schemes to characterize performance confidence and testing uncertainty.
• Coordinate with systems engineering teams, test organizations, WIPTs, integrated test teams, government sponsors, and users.
• Lead T&E task execution, manage resources and quality assurance, provide technical direction, and develop risk mitigation options.

Requirements

• At least eight years of experience as a test and evaluation professional on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, science, engineering, statistics, engineering management, or a related discipline; four additional years of T&E experience may substitute for the degree.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with an appropriate current polygraph is required.
• Ability to receive privileged access rights.
• Experience with test planning, performance analysis, data collection, data and configuration management, reporting, and government T&E documentation.
