Senior Software and Hardware Test Support (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Develop and coordinate test documentation, test releases, airworthiness memorandums, master test plans, and TEMPs.
• Coordinate test resources, aircraft instrumentation, test configurations, flight-test infrastructure, and DoD test range facilities.
• Support software and hardware integration, ground and flight testing, and fielding recommendations for F-16 fighter weapons systems.
• Coordinate test requirements and approvals with the prime contractor, program office, AFTC, FAA, ACC, and other test agencies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve test anomalies involving hardware, subsystems, sensors, weapons, and aircraft configurations.
• Support test aircraft fleet management, deficiency reporting, maintenance modifications, and test working groups and IPTs.

Requirements

• Active or current Secret security clearance verifiable in DISS.
• Master’s or Doctoral degree in a related field with at least 10 years of relevant experience, including five years in DoD, or a Bachelor’s degree with at least 12 years of relevant experience, including five years in DoD.
• Alternatively, 15 years of directly related experience with appropriate certifications, including eight years in DoD.
• At least three years of experience planning or conducting military flight test programs is recommended.
• Expertise in planning, directing, and integrating test and evaluation functions for aeronautical weapons systems is recommended.
