Accounts Receivable Collections Specialist

What you will do

• Identify and contact hospitals regarding overdue invoices and aging accounts receivable.
• Build positive customer relationships while collecting payments according to agreed terms.
• Analyze and resolve administrative and purchase-order discrepancies delaying invoicing or payment.
• Collect purchase orders from sales representatives and hospitals to support timely billing.
• Maintain department standards for days sales outstanding, aged receivables, and purchase-order collection.
• Document collection activities, maintain organized records, and support special projects.

Requirements

• Three to five years of collections experience.
• Ability to handle high-volume data entry and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational, communication, interpersonal, and customer-service skills.
• Detail-oriented approach and a positive attitude.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office; Microsoft Excel skills are strongly preferred.
• Ability to meet the stated physical requirements, including sitting, bending, and lifting up to 25 pounds occasionally.
