Cash Posting Specialist

Location: Remote, USA

Healthcare services organization supporting home health, hospice, senior living, and home care agencies across 14 US states through a centralized Service Center model.

What you will do

• Review, research, and post various types of funds daily.
• Prepare daily cash reports and reconciliations.
• Resolve payment discrepancies by coordinating with internal teams.
• Research and clear unidentified cash accounts monthly.
• Manage automated payment files and handle exceptions.
• Support cash posting coverage, train Cash Posters, and collaborate with billers, collectors, agency leaders, and revenue cycle teams.

Requirements

• At least five years of cash posting experience.
• At least three years of healthcare billing and collections management experience, preferably in home health or hospice operations.
• Experience with eClinicalWorks, HCHB, and Excel.
• Working knowledge of payer contracts and government billing regulations, including Medicare and Medicaid.
• Strong communication, negotiation, organization, discretion, and independent judgment skills.
• Ability to work accurately and collaboratively with colleagues, service center personnel, referral sources, and payers.
