Location: Remote within the listed U.S. states: Arkansas, Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Massachusetts, Maryland, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, North Carolina, New Mexico, Nevada, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington, Wisconsin, and West Virginia. Occasional travel to schools, libraries, hotels, or other testing locations may be required during peak testing periods, potentially including overnight stays.

Salary: $60,000–$70,000 per year.

What you will do

  • Own the planning, coordination, and execution of virtual and in-person standardized assessment programs for Texas and Oklahoma programs.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on assessment requirements, administration protocols, testing platforms, proctor qualifications, and state-specific implementation.
  • Manage assessment scheduling, student rostering, platform access, testing-site readiness, proctor assignments, and operational resources.
  • Direct and support proctors during live testing windows, resolving schedule conflicts, access issues, and technical problems in real time.
  • Maintain accurate assessment data, score-entry workflows, reporting, and post-assessment uploads.
  • Analyze participation, risks, and outcomes, then recommend staffing, resource allocation, process, and compliance improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience with K-12 state assessment programs, testing regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, including experience with databases, spreadsheets, reporting, and data management systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, make independent operational decisions, and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to travel periodically for in-person testing events.

Nice to have

  • Valid Texas K-12 teacher license or certification.
  • Experience with student information systems, assessment platforms, or state testing systems.
  • Experience supporting virtual testing environments.
  • Project management experience in education, compliance, or operations.
  • Experience training or supporting staff in operational processes and procedures.
