Solutions Design Engineer (Warehouse Automation)

Location: Atlanta, Georgia, United States. Willingness to travel up to 20% for customer engagements and site visits.

What you will do

• Partner with Sales and Business Development to evaluate opportunities and develop solution strategies.
• Lead client discovery through site visits, operational assessments, workshops, and requirements gathering.
• Analyze warehouse and fulfillment data to identify automation opportunities and operational improvements.
• Design end-to-end solutions using robotics, storage systems, conveyors, sortation equipment, software, and other material handling technologies.
• Develop system layouts, technical concepts, customer presentations, documentation, and project handover packages.
• Collaborate with Deployment Engineering and Project Delivery teams throughout the sales cycle and project handover.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in warehouse automation, material handling, intralogistics, fulfillment operations, systems integration, or solutions engineering.
• Experience with distribution centers, fulfillment centers, warehouse operations, or material handling systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related technical field.
• Experience creating technical concepts, facility layouts, or solution designs with AutoCAD or similar tools.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work across technical and commercial teams.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work within deadlines.

Nice to have

• Ability to analyze operational data and translate customer requirements into scalable technical solutions using SQL, Python, and/or AI tools.
