Head of HR AMER

Location: New York office; oversight of offices across Canada, the US, and South America

Minimum base salary: $150,000 annually if located in New York; discretionary bonuses and benefits may also apply.

What you will do

• Lead HR matters across the Americas and advise regional leaders and employees.
• Manage a team of two handling day-to-day regional HR activities.
• Resolve employee relations issues, mitigate risks, and ensure consistent practices.
• Oversee employee onboarding and offboarding across the region and globally.
• Use engagement and turnover metrics to support people-related decisions.
• Collaborate on talent management, people development, internal mobility, immigration coordination, recruiting handoffs, and payroll support.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and at least eight years of HR experience, preferably in financial services.
• Strong analytical reasoning, independent judgment, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to drive results in a fast-paced environment and work effectively under pressure.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint.
• Experience with Workday is ideal.
