HR Business Partner

Location: Hybrid role in New York City, United States; work from home on Monday and Friday and work from hirify.global's New York City office Tuesday through Thursday.

Base salary: $120,000–$140,000 per year, excluding discretionary annual cash bonus and equity compensation. The range applies to candidates located in the New York City area.

What you will do

• Serve as the primary HR point of contact for employees and managers on performance management, employee relations, coaching, and policy interpretation.
• Advise teams throughout the employee lifecycle and help resolve workplace issues.
• Connect people initiatives with team goals and support organizational change and scalable growth.
• Use HR metrics and trends to guide people practices and solve operational challenges.
• Implement HR programs and initiatives with the broader People team while improving employee experiences.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition and hiring managers to accelerate hiring processes and support additional HR projects.

Requirements

• 5+ years of HR experience, including 2+ years of direct HR Business Partner experience.
• Experience in a high-growth startup, scaleup, or similar environment.
• Experience coaching line managers through performance management considerations.
• Experience addressing concerns and resolving workplace conflicts.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, attention to detail, project management, collaboration, judgment, and discretion.
• Ability to work in the New York City hybrid office schedule.
