HR Business Partner (Fintech)

Location: New York, United States

Annual base salary: $140,000–$250,000 USD

What you will do

• Partner with managers on performance coaching, change management, difficult conversations, employee relations, and team effectiveness.
• Provide HR support across onboarding, performance management, training and development, benefits, leave administration, transfers, and other employee lifecycle matters.
• Support merit and bonus cycles, mobility and transfer activities, HRIS transactions, and offboarding.
• Collaborate with global People Operations, Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, Workplace Services, Legal, Compliance, and business leaders.
• Improve workforce planning, organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, succession planning, retention, and the employee experience.
• Maintain HR guidelines and processes while ensuring compliance with employment laws, internal policies, documentation, confidentiality, and restrictive covenant obligations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience as an HR Business Partner, HR Generalist, or in a similar People Operations role.
• Broad experience with employee relations, talent management, compensation, performance management, onboarding, and recruitment.
• Strong business acumen, communication, judgment, discretion, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.
• Working knowledge of employment law, HR compliance requirements, and HR best practices.
• Experience with HR systems such as Workday, Greenhouse, Culture Amp, or similar tools; Confluence and Jira familiarity is a plus.
