Senior Security Engineer (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Identify risks to confidentiality, integrity, and availability and define appropriate mitigations.
• Use Azure, AWS, and GCP services to automate and improve security controls and operational processes.
• Develop and implement security tools, controls, processes, and cloud-agnostic zero-trust and IAM patterns.
• Assess enterprise and product environments across cloud-hosted, virtual, and on-premise systems, including static and dynamic analysis and threat modeling.
• Manage penetration, segmentation, vulnerability, network, and application security testing.
• Collaborate with Architecture, Site Reliability Engineering, and Operations teams on secure designs, standards, detection, and response.

Requirements

• 5 years of progressive responsibility in a security organization and 2–6 years of relevant security engineering or network security experience.
• B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on experience with security and networking architecture, network protocols, network security design, intrusion prevention and detection, and firewall architecture.
• Experience scripting in languages such as Go, Rust, Python, or Ruby and automating security testing, reporting, and process improvements.
• Competency administering Azure, AWS, GCP, or equivalent public cloud infrastructure, plus experience with high-availability enterprise production environments.
• Experience with vulnerability and penetration testing tools, security controls, DevOps tooling, CI/CD, containers, and infrastructure as code.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Big-IP, CentOS, Linux, Kubernetes, Docker, HashiCorp Vault, Palo Alto, Cisco, Qualys, Puppet, Chef, Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, CircleCI, Artifactory, and Git.
