Senior Cloud Security Engineering Lead (AI): Designing and operating secure multi-cloud platforms for Pfizer’s core cybersecurity applications with an accent on cloud security architecture, infrastructure as code, automation, and regulated environments. Focus on leading cloud security engineers, building policy-as-code and detection pipelines, and evaluating agentic AI capabilities for secure automated remediation and threat response.

What you will do
- Lead the design, implementation, hardening, and operation of preventative security controls across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Own cloud security reference architectures, guardrails, landing-zone controls, and secure-by-default platform patterns.
- Drive policy-as-code and infrastructure-as-code security using Terraform, OpenTofu, Spacelift, and Python.
- Automate security control deployment, posture remediation, evidence collection, logging pipelines, and cloud-security observability.
- Engineer and secure infrastructure supporting Ping, SailPoint, CyberArk, and CrowdStrike Amazon EKS platforms.
- Lead evaluation and operationalization of agentic security capabilities, including AI red and blue team agents, autonomous testing, code security review, and AI-assisted vulnerability remediation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, computer engineering, or a related discipline.
- 6+ years of experience in cloud engineering, cloud security, or infrastructure roles, including 2+ years in technical leadership.
- Deep expertise in at least one of AWS, GCP, or Azure, with familiarity across multiple cloud providers.
- Strong experience with Terraform, OpenTofu, Pulumi, cloud security fundamentals, IAM, network security, encryption, workload security, and monitoring.
- Proficiency in a major programming language, with Python strongly preferred, and experience securing enterprise IAM, PAM, SIEM, or log analytics platforms.
- Ability to communicate across complex matrixed organizations and coach, mentor, and develop engineers.
Nice to have
- Multi-cloud security across AWS, GCP, and Azure, including Kubernetes or EKS security at scale.
- Experience with CNAPP, CSPM, GitHub Advanced Security, Spacelift, or similar tools.
- Experience applying AI or agentic tooling to security engineering and qualifying cloud services for GxP or other regulated environments.
- AWS, Azure, or GCP Security Specialty, CISSP, CCSP, OSCP, or equivalent certification.
