Manager Project Controlling

Location: Bratislava, Slovakia. Hybrid setup with home office possible 2 days a week.

Compensation: €3,700 gross per month minimum, plus a 13th salary and 10% annual bonus.

What you will do

• Act as a Finance Business Partner to the BU Controller and local management, providing financial insights and decision support.
• Lead and guide Project Controllers while managing selected projects hands-on.
• Monitor project costs, revenue recognition, cash flow, forecasts, risks, and opportunities through regular reviews.
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, financial compliance, audit support, and corrective actions for budget deviations.
• Improve project controlling processes, ERP systems, reporting, and commercial awareness across the organization.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in project controlling, FP&A, and finance in an international, project-driven environment.
• Experience in industrial or construction-related environments is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, accounting principles, local taxation, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management, analytical, and prioritization skills.
• Expertise with ERP and reporting systems; SAP or IFS experience and advanced Excel skills are preferred.
• Fluent English is required; German is an advantage.
