Cloud FinOps Specialist (Cloud Cost Management)

Location: Hybrid role based in Bratislava, Slovakia

Salary: From EUR 3,000 gross per month, with a performance bonus of up to 10% of the basic salary for the evaluation period.

What you will do

• Own and continuously improve cloud cost and usage monitoring processes.
• Analyze cloud cost and consumption data and prepare actionable reports, dashboards, visualizations, and financial KPIs.
• Manage cloud cost automation, governance, optimization, budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Identify and implement cost optimization opportunities across Azure, AWS, and other cloud platforms.
• Present financial insights and recommendations to technical stakeholders, business partners, and executives.
• Support vendor management and commercial optimization for cloud services.

Requirements

• University education and at least 3 years of experience in business analysis, financial analysis, or cloud cost analysis.
• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Azure or AWS, and cloud cost management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with advanced Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Power BI experience.
• Experience preparing reports, dashboards, and data visualizations.
• English proficiency at minimum B2 level.
• Professional communication skills in Slovak or Czech are required.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Azure or AWS Billing and Cost Management, including Billing APIs.
• Experience with Atlassian Confluence and Jira automation.
• Experience with Business Intelligence and data warehousing solutions.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric.
• Understanding of FinOps frameworks, cloud governance, and cloud financial management best practices.
