Business Control Specialist (Risk Management): Providing support in identifying, assessing, and mitigating non-financial risks within the PPSS department with an accent on control standards, risk assessments, and operational resilience. Focus on implementing solutions to close control gaps, executing risk assessments, and delivering high-quality reporting for senior management.
Location: Hybrid (Bratislava, Slovakia)
Salary: 2669 EUR/month (minimum basic wage)

What you will do
- Identify control weaknesses and implement new control standards within the PPSS department.
- Assist control owners in implementing solutions to close and minimize identified control gaps.
- Execute risk assessments and gap analyses regarding new tooling, processes, and control standards.
- Develop and maintain local monitoring plans and report on risk mitigation effectiveness.
- Provide expert advice on issue identification, ratings, risk responses, and event management.
- Act as a primary link between 1st Line of Defense business and 2nd Line of Defense (NFR, Compliance).
Requirements
- 3+ years’ experience in risk management, compliance, internal controls, or audit.
- Professional experience in the financial sector or shared service centers.
- Working knowledge of risk assessments and controls implementation & testing.
- Fluent English (written and spoken).
- Strong analytical mindset and ability to interact effectively across all organizational levels.
