Senior Tax Risk & Control Specialist

hirify.global is hiring for a tax risk and control governance role supporting global ING locations.

What you will do

• Design, maintain, implement and improve Tax control standards and monitoring plans for FATCA/CRS, US Withholding and CESOP.
• Lead global implementation governance, including applicability assessments, deployment timelines, gap analysis, remediation planning and formal closure.
• Provide guidance on control interpretation, monitoring, testing, evidence expectations, iRisk setup and issue or event handling.
• Review monitoring and test evidence to ensure conclusions are substantiated, consistent and audit-ready.
• Facilitate CTS Control Board meetings, prepare decision materials, track actions and coordinate stakeholder input.
• Support audits, regulatory information requests, community sessions, workshops and continuous process improvement.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience in Non-Financial Risk implementation and execution.
• 5+ years of experience implementing FATCA/CRS, US Withholding and CESOP control frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of ING NFR and internal control principles, control standards, KCM/KCT, iRisk, issue and event management, FLE, RAC and audit expectations.
• Ability to translate regulatory and control requirements into practical guidance, evidence expectations and management reporting.
• Advanced stakeholder management skills across 1LoD, 2LoD, policy, operations, management and audit.
• Clear written communication, facilitation skills, structured thinking and attention to detail.
