Environmental Specialist

Location: Norcross, Georgia, United States; onsite field work with approximately 20% regional travel

Salary: $30.00–$35.00 per hour; full-time day shift, with occasional night and weekend work.

What you will do

• Conduct asbestos, lead paint, mold, and indoor air quality inspections.
• Perform air monitoring and work-practice observations during abatement activities.
• Supervise abatement projects and verify compliance with safety standards and work practices.
• Document field data and prepare reports covering survey findings, air-monitoring results, and abatement activities.
• Prepare proposals for inspections and air-quality assessments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred; high school diploma or GED required.
• 2–3 years of experience with asbestos, lead, mold, and indoor air quality investigations, including remediation air monitoring.
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and guidelines.
• Strong written, verbal, customer-service, and client-facing communication skills.
• Ability to work at heights of approximately 100–1,000 feet, lift up to 50 pounds, and work at least 40 hours per week on a flexible schedule.
• Must be a U.S. Person, able to obtain and maintain a security clearance, hold a valid driver’s license, pass a background check, and meet company driving requirements.
