Cloud Transformation Architect

Location: 100% remote within the United States

Salary: $150,000–$175,000 annually

What you will do

• Design and govern cloud-native solutions across compute, networking, data, identity, and security domains.
• Translate strategic business objectives into scalable, pragmatic, cost-effective cloud architectures aligned with enterprise standards.
• Partner with business stakeholders, security architects, and engineering teams.
• Lead architecture reviews and influence engineering direction.
• Produce formal architecture artifacts and present recommendations to senior leadership.

Requirements

• U.S. work authorization is required; eligible applicants include U.S. Citizens, Green Card Holders, EAD Holders, and H-1B transfer candidates.
• At least 8 years of experience in software engineering or solution architecture roles.
• Deep expertise designing cloud-native solutions on at least one major cloud platform.
• Strong knowledge of cloud networking, identity, security primitives, containerization, serverless, and managed data services.
• Experience with cloud migration, modernization, and platform consolidation programs.
• Cloud architecture certification from AWS, Azure, or GCP, plus strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to have

• Multiple cloud architecture certifications.
• Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud architectures.
• Familiarity with TOGAF or other enterprise architecture frameworks.
• Experience in regulated industries and strict cloud compliance environments.
• Experience driving FinOps and cost transparency initiatives.
