What you will do

• Design and implement secure, scalable, resilient, and cost-effective cloud architectures across Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform.
• Define technical approaches, reference architectures, roadmaps, engineering standards, and deployment practices for complex cloud initiatives.
• Monitor platform health, optimize performance and service selection, estimate costs, troubleshoot complex issues, and implement sustainable solutions.
• Establish cloud-native standards, automated delivery patterns, reusable models, and CI/CD practices for applications, infrastructure, data, and integrations.
• Embed security and compliance controls, maintain audit and monitoring documentation, and define recovery objectives and resilience testing.
• Evaluate emerging cloud technologies through proofs of concept and provide technical leadership to stakeholders and team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
• At least 7 years of experience in cloud engineering, infrastructure, software development, or related technology disciplines.
• At least 3 years of experience in cloud architecture and solution design.
• Expertise in distributed systems, networking, identity and access management, governance, security, managed databases, monitoring, and application and data integration.
• Experience with Azure and GCP services, including AKS, App Service, Azure Functions, Azure SQL, GKE, Cloud Run, Compute Engine, Cloud SQL, and BigQuery.
• Proficiency with Terraform, Git, Kubernetes, Python, PowerShell, CI/CD pipelines, cloud security, compliance, and operational reliability practices.

Nice to have

• Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification.
• Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect certification.
• Cloud security or networking certifications.
