Senior Project Manager (Banking)

Location: Germany, fully remote

What you will do

• Develop project plans covering scope, objectives, timelines, resources, and delivery strategies.
• Promote stable and efficient Scrum and Kanban flow, facilitating retrospectives, weekly meetings, and reviews.
• Identify and remove bottlenecks and blockers while optimizing workflows.
• Coach the external consulting team in Flight Levels, agility metrics, and agile methods.
• Align team activities with strategic corporate objectives and collaborate with bank employees.
• Manage test and release activities, including test scenarios, execution, documentation, and compliance with banking application-development requirements.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience as a Project Manager.
• Strong experience with credit institutions, financial services institutions, or securities institutions.
• Experience analyzing and implementing banking requirements in application systems.
• Knowledge of Flight Levels, OKR, agility metrics, Jira, Confluence, SpiraPlan, BPMN, UML, or eEPK.
• Experience with portals for promotional lending or Java-based web applications.
• English at upper-intermediate level or higher and advanced German are required.

Nice to have

• University degree or comparable qualification in business administration, economics, mathematics, computer science, business information systems, or a related field.
