DevOps / Infrastructure Engineer

Location: Fully remote; flexible start hours from 8:00 to 11:00, with participation in client and fixed team meetings required.

What you will do

• Administer and operate production Windows and Linux infrastructure.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, patch, back up, and recover production systems.
• Manage networking infrastructure, including DNS, SSL/TLS, and firewalls.
• Automate infrastructure and configuration management and support CI/CD processes.
• Administer production databases, including installation, configuration, monitoring, backup, recovery, and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with system administrators, developers, QA engineers, and software architects to improve existing and legacy systems incrementally.

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in infrastructure administration, DevOps, or a similar technical role.
• Practical experience with Windows and/or Linux server administration and production infrastructure operations.
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals, DNS, SSL/TLS, firewalls, infrastructure automation, configuration management, and CI/CD.
• Experience with at least one public cloud platform and production database administration.
• Scripting skills in Python, Bash, and/or PowerShell, plus strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good written and spoken English required.

Nice to have

• Ansible, Jenkins, GitLab, TFS, and AWS experience.
• Experience with Firebird or other relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle.
