Financial Reporting Specialist (Banking)

Location: Miami, United States. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Annual base pay: $71,250–$122,500 USD.

What you will do

• Prepare Head Office, European Central Bank, US regulatory, IFRS, SEC, TICs, FR2900, and call reports.
• Calculate risk-weighted assets and regulatory capital.
• Perform daily data extraction, validation, variance analysis, and reporting controls.
• Participate in automation and upgrades of regulatory reporting systems and Excel documentation.
• Maintain reporting procedures, policies, control documentation, and technical knowledge of reporting tools, general ledger, products, US GAAP, and IFRS.
• Partner with IT, Legal, Compliance, Finance, business operations, regulators, auditors, and consultants on reporting issues, audits, and examinations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience; a master’s degree is preferred.
• 5+ years of accounting, finance, business administration, banking, or financial services experience.
• Advanced knowledge of accounting practices, US GAAP, IFRS, banking regulatory reporting, and financial institutions.
• Experience with regulatory reporting vendor solutions and strong Microsoft Office, Oracle, database, Access, PowerPoint, and Excel skills.
• Fluent English and Spanish required.
• US work authorization required; employer sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in a related field.
• CPA certification.
• Established work history or equivalent experience, training, military service, or education.
