Senior Investment Reporting Analyst

Location: Remote - Nationwide, United States; primary location listed as Greenwood Village, Colorado.

Base salary: $79,400.00–$112,175.00 per year.

What you will do

• Prepare and review quarterly and annual U.S. Statutory NAIC state financial reports, supplements, audited financial statements, surveys, and U.S. GAAP annual registered financial statements.
• Coordinate investment presentation and disclosures in quarterly financial statements.
• Interpret new accounting pronouncements, regulatory guidelines, investment types, and reporting requirements.
• Coordinate investment audits and explain the company’s accounting position.
• Monitor reporting databases, reconcile ledger balances across multiple systems, and research discrepancies.
• Identify process improvements, system enhancements, and implementation opportunities for internal and external reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• 4–6 years of financial reporting experience.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
• Understanding of reporting systems such as BlackLine, EASY, SAP, PAM, Phoenix, and Unit Value Cloud.
• Strong analytical, technical, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively while managing competing priorities.

Nice to have

• Public accounting or investment-related financial reporting experience.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. Statutory NAIC and/or U.S. GAAP accounting principles.
• Investment experience.
• Experience with Alteryx, Wings annual statement software, Workiva, or WDesk.
• Process improvement and internal controls experience.
