Shop Operations Specialist (E-commerce)

What you will do

• Coordinate the setup and upload of new products, ensuring descriptions and product information are correctly configured.
• Monitor stock levels across SKUs, identify shortage risks, and analyse sales trends to support forecasting.
• Raise and manage purchase orders with suppliers to maintain optimal inventory levels.
• Perform quality control of product listings and resolve inventory discrepancies, operational issues, and system errors.
• Coordinate with suppliers on order status, delivery timelines, and issues.
• Collaborate with merchandising, marketing, and customer service teams.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in e-commerce operations, inventory management, retail buying, or a similar role.
• Strong data management, reporting, analytics, and sales trend interpretation skills.
• Experience with e-commerce platforms, inventory management systems, Excel, Google Sheets, and standard business software.
• Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple products, brands, and processes accurately.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills for working with suppliers and internal teams.
• Degree with a quantitative or analytical focus, such as business, finance, computer science, engineering, or mathematics.
