Engineering Manager with Java (m/f/n)

What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of engineers, supporting performance and career development.
• Drive greenfield initiatives and large-scale projects from concept through production.
• Provide technical leadership in architecture, system design, and modern engineering practices.
• Ensure timely, high-quality delivery through planning, execution, and clear communication of risks and dependencies.
• Partner with Product Managers and stakeholders to align priorities and outcomes.
• Improve and standardize development processes while supporting organizational change.

Requirements

• 6+ years of software development experience and 2+ years of people leadership experience.
• At least 2 years of project or delivery management experience.
• Strong technical background in Java and experience with system design.
• Experience in a containerized cloud-native environment using GCP or AWS.
• Very good command of English at B2+ level, in both speech and writing.
• Product mindset, end-to-end ownership, strong communication and organizational skills, and a relevant bachelor's degree.

Nice to have

• Cloud certifications.
• Scrum Master or Product Owner certification.
• Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD.
• Exposure to security, compliance, or enterprise environments.
