Technical Lead (AWS & Java)

What you will do

• Define and lead engineering strategy for scalable, secure, and maintainable technology solutions.
• Influence architecture decisions, technology investments, engineering standards, and complex technical initiatives across multiple teams.
• Establish quality engineering practices covering testing standards, automation, governance, and CI/CD.
• Embed secure-by-design principles and guide teams in identifying and addressing security risks.
• Develop observability and metrics-led engineering through logging, metrics, tracing, alerting, and reliability practices.
• Coach and mentor engineers while building a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.

Requirements

• Significant experience leading technical strategy across complex technology environments.
• Strong expertise in cloud-native architecture, distributed systems, serverless technologies, and microservices.
• Deep understanding of software testing, quality engineering, CI/CD, and Agile delivery.
• Experience embedding secure software development practices within engineering teams.
• Knowledge of observability, reliability engineering, and metrics-driven decision-making.
• Strong technical background in Java, AWS, Spring Framework, Node, Docker, and modern software engineering practices, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
