Spare Parts Specialist (Supply Chain)

What you will do

• Control maintenance stockroom inventory through checkouts, restocking, periodic counts, and physical verification.
• Source and purchase spare parts and materials required by the plant.
• Evaluate vendors, negotiate cost improvements, and build supplier relationships.
• Maintain inventory movements in Blue Mountain and Lean Lift and create purchase orders and requisitions in Coupa.
• Analyze and optimize stock levels, identify cost-saving opportunities, and manage cost-improvement programs.
• Partner with production and engineering on spare-parts process improvement, obsolete parts, and tooling readiness.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in maintenance purchasing and inventory control.
• Degree in engineering, supply chain, or business.
• Knowledge of procurement procedures and processes.
• Basic ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings.
• Cooperative and negotiation skills.
• Ability to use measuring tools such as dial calipers, micrometers, and height gauges.

Nice to have

• Experience in equipment maintenance and repair.
• Experience with Lean and Six Sigma tools and techniques.
