Principal Supply Chain Analyst

What you will do

• Monitor weapon-system supply health, identify supply-chain issues, perform in-depth analysis, and recommend and support corrective actions.
• Enhance contingency spares and equipment support and integrate sparing systems across the supply chain.
• Coordinate supply support with DoD agencies, Air Staff, MAJCOM, COCOM operations, maintenance planners, DLA, and inventory managers.
• Analyze GFE/GFP, support equipment, life support, demilitarization requirements, plans, schedules, budgets, and purchasing documentation.
• Resolve DMSMS and MICAP issues, research parts availability, establish supply priorities, and identify costs, lead times, and repair or manufacturing sources.
• Forecast supply requirements, capture supply data, support spares provisioning, and coordinate funding and maintenance-level recommendations.

Requirements

• Active or current Secret security clearance required.
• Master’s or doctoral degree in a related field plus at least 20 years of relevant experience, including 12 years in the DoD; or a bachelor’s degree plus at least 25 years of relevant experience, including 15 years in the DoD.
• Alternatively, at least 30 years of directly related experience with the required certifications, including 20 years in the DoD.
• Knowledge of DoD and Air Force supply-chain systems, procedures, and guidance.
