Privacy Counsel (AI)

Location: London, United Kingdom; at least 3 days in the office required

What you will do

• Act as a privacy subject-matter expert for hirify.global products and services.
• Provide legal advice on European privacy, data protection, cyber, and AI laws, including GDPR.
• Advise on privacy impact assessments and assist with data subject rights requests.
• Draft and negotiate privacy-related contracts and agreements.
• Develop privacy policies, procedures, training programs, and regulatory change management processes.
• Identify privacy, data, AI, and cyber issues and collaborate with Legal, Ethics and Compliance, Government Engagement, business partners, and external counsel.

Requirements

• Qualified lawyer in England and Wales with several years of post-qualification experience; qualifications from other jurisdictions may also be considered.
• Substantial, demonstrable experience as a privacy subject-matter expert.
• Strong legal drafting, contract negotiation, relationship management, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with stakeholders, work independently, and manage a varied and demanding workload.
• Passion for complex privacy, data, cyber, and AI issues, with high integrity and intellectual curiosity.
• Fluent English required.
