ServiceNow Technical Architect

Location: 100% remote within the United States

Salary: $165,000–$185,000 annually

What you will do

• Lead the design, governance, and long-term evolution of the ServiceNow platform.
• Define standards for data architecture, integrations, security, and customization across ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, SecOps, and custom applications.
• Design CMDB, discovery, and service mapping implementations.
• Shape multi-year ServiceNow roadmaps aligned with business priorities.
• Lead major platform upgrades and release planning.
• Influence engineering, business, and executive stakeholders through architecture and technical leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• At least eight years of ServiceNow experience, including significant architecture or technical leadership experience.
• Deep expertise across multiple ServiceNow modules, including the platform data model, scripting, scoped applications, and platform internals.
• Hands-on experience with IntegrationHub, REST APIs, complex integrations, platform security, ACLs, and role design at scale.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• ServiceNow CTA, CIS, or CSA certification.

Nice to have

• ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect credential.
• Experience with Now Assist, GenAI Controller, or other AI-driven ServiceNow features.
• Experience with multi-instance, multi-region deployments and integrations with Workday, Salesforce, or SAP.
• Familiarity with HAM Pro, SAM Pro, or App Engine Studio.
