ServiceNow Architect (ServiceNow)

Location: Fully remote within the United States; Washington, D.C.-based team. U.S. citizenship is required. An active Secret or higher security clearance is required.

Salary: $150,000–$170,000 annually

What you will do

• Design, implement, and optimize scalable ServiceNow solutions aligned with business and IT requirements.
• Lead solution design, technical planning, phased deployments, upgrades, and performance optimization.
• Develop custom applications and extend ServiceNow modules using App Engine, Flow Designer, scripting, and platform configuration.
• Integrate ServiceNow with external systems and third-party applications while ensuring secure and reliable data flow.
• Manage workflows, data migrations, testing, code reviews, documentation, and deployment planning.
• Provide technical leadership through mentoring, stakeholder guidance, troubleshooting, compliance, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship and an active Secret or higher security clearance are required.
• 5+ years of experience as a ServiceNow Architect or in a similar role.
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certification.
• Expertise in ServiceNow integrations, custom development, troubleshooting, data models, workflows, ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, Security Operations, Service Catalog, and Reporting.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, REST APIs, HTML, CSS, data security, integration security, upgrades, and performance optimization.
• Experience with Agile and DevOps methodologies, plus strong communication, problem-solving, and independent working skills.

Nice to have

• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer certification or equivalent.
• Experience with AWS or Azure.
• Experience with Jira, Jenkins, or GitHub.
