ServiceNow Platform Developer

Location: 100% remote within the United States

Salary: $125,000–$140,000 annually

What you will do

• Build and maintain ServiceNow solutions across ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, and custom scoped applications.
• Configure and develop workflows, Flow Designer automations, scripts, integrations, and UI customizations.
• Extend the ServiceNow platform using maintainable, upgrade-safe development practices.
• Develop and maintain integrations using REST, SOAP, and MID Servers.
• Design Service Portal widgets and troubleshoot platform issues.
• Balance declarative and programmatic approaches while maintaining platform performance and code quality.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States.
• Five or more years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Strong JavaScript skills, including ES5 and ES6 patterns used in ServiceNow.
• Deep expertise with Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Actions, UI Policies, Flow Designer, and IntegrationHub.
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator credential, with experience in the ServiceNow data model, CMDB, integrations, Service Portal widgets, troubleshooting, and analysis.

Nice to have

• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer credential.
• Certified Implementation Specialist credentials in ITSM, HR, CSM, or ITOM.
• Experience with Now Assist or GenAI Controller.
• Familiarity with App Engine Studio and multi-instance ServiceNow environments.
