Senior Backend Engineer (C#)

What you will do

• Design and develop scalable backend systems and APIs for real-time applications serving a large user base.
• Deliver production-ready features for a 24/7 sports betting environment.
• Own the software development lifecycle from system design through maintenance, performance tuning, and reliability improvements.
• Triage, investigate, and resolve production issues while improving operational excellence.
• Optimize services for high-volume, real-time demands and rapid product rollouts.
• Collaborate with product and engineering stakeholders, mentor peers, and drive quality standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 3 years of professional object-oriented backend development experience using languages such as C#.
• Deep knowledge of object-oriented programming principles, design patterns, and backend system architecture.
• Experience designing and building scalable distributed systems in cloud environments such as AWS or Google Cloud Platform.
• Advanced proficiency with automated unit, integration, and performance testing for large-scale backend services.
• Experience mentoring engineers through code reviews, design reviews, and collaborative debugging.
