.NET Platform Architect (C#)

Location: Cyprus — hybrid

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain shared backend services, libraries, APIs, and integrations for engineering teams.
• Develop scalable platform components using C# and ASP.NET.
• Build cloud-native services running on Docker and Kubernetes.
• Work with relational and non-relational databases, key-value stores, message brokers, and event-driven architectures.
• Improve platform reliability, performance, observability, testability, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with product engineering teams, define engineering standards, and mentor engineers.

Requirements

• Strong backend development experience with C# and ASP.NET.
• Experience building distributed systems, microservices, APIs, and shared platform components.
• Hands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, message brokers, and event-driven architecture.
• Practical knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with AI coding agents or AI-assisted development tools.
• Strong understanding of testing, CI/CD, code quality, observability, reliability, ownership, and cross-team collaboration.
