Red Hat OpenShift Engineer

Location: 100% remote within the United States

What you will do

• Design, deploy, and manage Red Hat OpenShift clusters across on-premises and cloud environments.
• Automate cluster provisioning, upgrades, and lifecycle management with Ansible, Terraform, Helm, and Argo CD.
• Configure networking, storage, security, and multi-tenant OpenShift environments.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Tekton, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Argo CD.
• Implement monitoring, logging, disaster recovery, and platform security.
• Collaborate with development teams, optimize workloads, and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of container platform experience, including 3+ years with Red Hat OpenShift.
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, OpenShift, Linux, and container networking.
• Experience with Ansible, Terraform, or Helm, plus CI/CD and Bash, Python, or Go scripting.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States; new H-1B visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Red Hat OpenShift certification.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Knowledge of Service Mesh, GitOps, and regulated environments such as HIPAA, PCI-DSS, or SOC 2.
