Company

hirify.global is a quantitative trading firm that develops high-performance electronic trading infrastructure and operates as a global organization.

What you will do

  • Design and build the end-to-end machine lifecycle pipeline, from power-on and network boot through OS installation, configuration, validation, and production handoff.
  • Automate hardware bring-up using BMC, Redfish, and IPMI, including firmware updates, BIOS settings, boot order, and inventory discovery.
  • Automate OS provisioning with PXE or UEFI HTTP boot and unattended installation.
  • Develop Python and Ansible automation, replacing manual runbooks with reviewed and versioned code.
  • Apply GitOps and CI/CD practices, including desired-state reconciliation, testing, staged rollouts, and drift correction.
  • Build health checks, stress tests, metrics, logging, and auditable lifecycle state transitions in collaboration with HPC and datacenter teams.

Requirements

  • Strong Python experience for automation, tooling, and services.
  • Hands-on experience writing Ansible playbooks and roles.
  • Solid understanding of CI/CD principles, testing, staged rollouts, and version control.
  • Linux knowledge, including the boot process, system services, and machine troubleshooting.
  • Automation-first and GitOps mindset with sound judgment around safe failures, retries, and audit trails.
  • Clear communication skills and the ability to document operational knowledge as reliable automation.

Nice to have

  • Experience with bare-metal provisioning tools such as MAAS, Tinkerbell, Foreman, Ironic, or equivalent systems.
  • Familiarity with BMCs, Redfish, IPMI, iDRAC, or iLO.
  • Experience with hardware validation, burn-in, stress testing, or firmware qualification at fleet scale.
  • Experience with GitOps tooling or declarative infrastructure management.
  • Background in datacenter, HPC, or large-fleet environments.

Culture & Benefits

  • Hybrid working opportunities in a collaborative, low-hierarchy environment.
  • Generous paid time off and regional savings and financial wellness plans.
  • Free breakfast, lunch, and snacks daily.
  • Wellness experiences, select wellness expense reimbursement, sports teams, and fitness events.
  • Volunteer opportunities, charitable giving, social events, and continuous learning workshops.
