Software Engineer (Java)

What you will do

• Build and enhance payment services used across the company’s betting and gaming brands.
• Work with Java and Spring to support Apple Pay and next-generation card payment experiences.
• Participate in design discussions and solve complex engineering challenges with colleagues.
• Own the full development lifecycle, including design, implementation, testing, deployment, monitoring, and improvement.
• Identify bugs, edge cases, and potential security, reliability, or performance issues.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience building services with Java and the Spring framework.
• Knowledge of CI/CD and build pipelines.
• Basic understanding of React, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
• Familiarity with Git, Gradle, Maven, and RPM.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerized application development and deployment.
• Experience in agile environments, strong problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.

Nice to have

• Experience with React, micro-frontends, or related frontend development.
• Comfort using AI-assisted development tools and validating their output.
