Software Development Engineer II (Java/Kotlin)

What you will do

• Design, develop, and deliver software features and services powering the TAAP platform for global travel-agent partners.
• Write clean, tested, and maintainable Java and Kotlin code across the software development lifecycle.
• Participate in architectural discussions and technical decisions shaping the platform.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, engineers, and cross-functional teams to build scalable B2B travel experiences.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues while maintaining platform reliability and performance.
• Review peer code and improve engineering practices, tooling, and processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience building scalable, distributed systems.
• Experience with JVM-based languages, including Java and Kotlin.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
• Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design principles.
• Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure and DevOps practices including CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes; proficient English communication is required.
