What you will do

• Design and build scalable, performant distributed applications for web, mobile, and internal platforms.
• Collaborate with Principal Engineers to establish new architectural patterns and technical designs.
• Contribute to a culture of innovation through R&D and technical development within the squad.
• Manage the full development lifecycle, including solution design and rigorous testing.
• Ensure full-stack security considerations are integrated into all architectural decisions.

Requirements

• Proven experience delivering changes to business-critical, customer-facing platforms.
• Expertise in Java development, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
• Strong experience with the Spring ecosystem including Boot, Cloud AWS, Data, and Cloud Streams.
• Knowledge of distributed systems, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
• Hands-on experience with AWS (Lambda, Step Functions) and Kubernetes.
• Must be based in or able to work from the Manchester office 3 days a week.
