What you will do

• Own mission-critical distributed pricing services end-to-end from technical design and API contracts through implementation and deployment.
• Analyze complex problems and collaborate with business partners to deliver sustainable technical solutions.
• Participate in architecture reviews, create technical documentation, and conduct detailed code reviews.
• Research and recommend architectural patterns and frameworks to identify and implement code improvements.
• Advocate for operational excellence via unit testing, establishing SLAs, and programming for scalability.
• Mentor team members and share expertise to foster a culture of continuous technical growth.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in CS with 5+ years of professional experience, or Master's Degree with 4+ years post-degree experience.
• Hands-on proficiency in Java, Scala, or Kotlin.
• Proven experience building and operating scalable distributed systems within AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Experience formally mentoring at least 3 individuals and driving technical design for 3+ projects end-to-end.
• Strong understanding of relational and NoSQL databases, API patterns, and service-oriented architectures.
• Practical experience with distributed caching solutions such as Redis, Couchbase, or Memcached.

Nice to have

• Experience with low-latency and high-throughput processing (1M+ TPS) microservices.
• Proficiency in integrating AI/ML-enabled solutions within backend systems to enhance product outcomes.
