What you will do
- Own mission-critical pricing services end to end, from technical design and API contracts through deployment and operations.
- Build and operate high-throughput, low-latency distributed services at global scale.
- Analyze complex business and technical problems and deliver sustainable, testable, observable solutions.
- Participate in architecture reviews, technical documentation, code reviews, and framework or design-pattern selection.
- Drive operational excellence through testing, SLAs, resiliency, scalability, monitoring, and alerting.
- Mentor team members and support technical growth and collaboration across teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience, with 5+ years of professional software development experience, or a master’s degree with 4+ years of post-degree experience.
- Hands-on experience with Java, Scala, Kotlin, or comparable object-oriented or functional programming languages.
- Experience building and operating scalable distributed systems in AWS or similar cloud infrastructure.
- Experience driving end-to-end technical design for at least three projects and formally mentoring at least three individuals.
- Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, data structures, API patterns, service-oriented architectures, distributed caching, Agile development, version control, CI, and CD.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working in a globally distributed engineering environment.

- Experience with low-latency, high-throughput microservices processing 1M+ TPS.
- Experience safely integrating AI/ML-enabled solutions into backend systems and using AI-driven tools or workflows.
