Project Management Support – Construction, Senior Specialist

Location: Hybrid role based in California, primarily Alhambra or Rialto, with required reporting to an SCE facility and up to 25% travel throughout the SCE service territory. Employees are required to work and reside in California.

Salary: $101,900–$152,800 annually

What you will do

• Support pre-construction and construction planning by creating action items, monitoring adherence, and maintaining project systems of record.
• Assist project managers with progress reports, milestones, metrics, schedules, budgets, and stakeholder updates.
• Maintain sophisticated project schedules using Microsoft Project and manage project documentation, version control, document libraries, and access permissions.
• Analyze project data, identify risks and issues, and prepare presentations and status reports for management and executive committees.
• Lead selected activities for complex projects, including change orders, construction modifications, drawing and submittal distribution, and safety documentation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams of 30 or more members while supporting construction codes, site procedures, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• Five or more years of Project Support experience.
• Experience supporting complex projects with changing priorities, interdependencies, tight deadlines, and construction-related documentation.
• Ability to prepare polished presentations and communicate complex findings to stakeholders and management.
• Ability to protect physical, financial, cybersecurity, customer, proprietary, medical, and other sensitive information.
• Ability to work and reside in California and report to an SCE facility under the hybrid work arrangement.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Expertise in SAP, SQL, Python, R, Tableau, Power BI, SAS, SPSS, or advanced Excel.
• Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and big data technologies.
• Experience leading projects or mentoring junior team members.
• Entrepreneurial problem-solving skills and a focus on streamlining design workflows and improving stakeholder communication.
