Senior Solution Architect (Energy)

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end I&C functional landscape, solution design, and integration points.
• Drive the I&C IT solution roadmap and maintain a sustainable view of the systems landscape.
• Lead architectural governance, assurance, risk management, and alignment with hirify.global architectural standards.
• Translate business requirements into functional and non-functional system, application, and process designs.
• Guide implementation teams and third-party suppliers through solution design and delivery.
• Maintain architectural assets and documentation in LeanIX while identifying opportunities to reduce total cost of ownership.

Requirements

• Significant experience providing architectural governance in predominantly outsourced environments and assuring third-party solutions.
• Experience leading architectural integrity across complex, multi-application and multi-project IT landscapes.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture guidelines, modelling techniques, key technologies, service integration, and delivery methodologies.
• Ability to balance functional, technical, financial, and risk considerations when designing IT solution options.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, planning, and stakeholder-influencing skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and make pragmatic customer-focused decisions.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of the UK energy industry.
• Experience with TOGAF, Zachman, FEA, ITIL, or SIAM.
• Experience using LeanIX or other enterprise architecture tools.
• Relevant architecture certifications such as TOGAF, CITA, or Microsoft certifications.
