Technical Solutions Architect (Fintech)

Location: London, with 2–3 days a week onsite

Salary: £80,000–£100,000 per annum

What you will do

• Own and contribute to architecture and technical design across product and client environments.
• Translate complex business and functional requirements into technical architectures and solution designs.
• Design integrations between internal platforms, third-party systems, and client environments.
• Produce architecture documentation, technical specifications, and system diagrams.
• Evaluate systems and identify opportunities for modernisation, integration, and optimisation.
• Support engineering teams through implementation and communicate technical risks, trade-offs, and proposed solutions to stakeholders and clients.

Requirements

• Experience as a Solutions Architect, Technical Architect, Application Architect, or similar.
• Strong experience designing solutions in complex enterprise technology environments.
• Strong understanding of APIs, integrations, distributed systems, and modern software architectures.
• Experience translating business requirements into technical architecture and solution designs.
• Ability to create and communicate architecture diagrams and technical documentation.
• Experience in financial services, banking, capital markets, or fintech, with strong stakeholder and client management skills.

Nice to have

• Understanding of trade lifecycle, post-trade, settlement, securities services, or financial market infrastructure.
• Exposure to DLT, digital assets, or post-trade transformation.
