Database Engineering - Masters-Level Internship (AI)

Location: Remote, with hybrid options in Toronto

Compensation: $32 per hour

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain data pipelines for efficient processing and storage.
• Support data management, analysis, and reporting tasks for business and technical projects.
• Collaborate with colleagues to maintain data availability and quality.
• Optimize data workflows and perform data integration tasks.
• Work with large datasets and develop solutions for data storage and access.
• Apply data security practices and support compliance with relevant best practices.

Requirements

• Current enrollment in or recent completion of a Master's program is mandatory.
• Relevant study area such as Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related discipline.
• Strong understanding of data concepts and analytical methods.
• Proficiency with SQL, Python, and data visualization tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
