Consultant, Reporting and Analytics

Location: Toronto, ON; hybrid arrangement with 2–3 days per week on-site

What you will do

• Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets to identify trends, opportunities, and actionable insights.
• Translate business questions into data requirements and analytical solutions for senior management and business stakeholders.
• Build interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, Python visualization libraries, SQL, and PySpark.
• Lead the development, delivery, and continuous improvement of complex data analytics and visualization solutions.
• Manage data and reporting initiatives aligned with business strategy, objectives, and key performance indicators.
• Communicate analytical findings, recommendations, and technology solutions to stakeholders across different disciplines.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or related roles.
• At least 2 years of Power BI experience and at least 4 years of SQL experience.
• Degree in a quantitative field such as mathematics, statistics, computer science, economics, engineering, physics, or business, or equivalent experience.
• Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate certification.
• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, decision-making, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Legally eligible to work in Canada at the specified location; a valid work or study permit may be required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Python, Microsoft Copilot Studio, or Capital Markets/Equities.
• Advanced degree such as MMA, MBAN, MSc, MA, or MBA.
